Suicide blast in Fort as troop make progress in Palampiddi

10 people were killed and a further 95 were injured today when a LTTE suicide bomber rammed a motorcycle into a bus transporting Police riot squad personnel. Among the dead were 8 policemen. 30 more police personnel were wounded in the blast. There were soaring civilian casualties in the blast with over 50 civilians being injured. Another police bus and several three wheelers parked nearby sustained damages in the blast.

Meanwhile Sri Lanka Army's 57 division conducting operations in the Palampiddi region are progressing with increased success. Tigers in this region have begun to feel the pressure of the army offensive since the army captured a key bridge two weeks ago. Three 8-man teams of the army captured the Palampiddi bridge on the 6th, killing 6 tigers in the process. With the capture of this bridge, army is now able to move armored units further into the Wanni. Tigers have called one of their senior commanders, Veerappan Master, from Kilinochchi to defend the area however he has not been able to make a difference so far.

Few more bodies of LTTE cadres killed at the hands of 57th division were handed over to the ICRC today. 5 of the bodies were of female child soldiers.

Yep bro, I was “incapacitated” over these past weeks as I was kidnapped and held captive as a sex-slave by the “Mathivathi brigade” in Sakkilinocchi.

Oh, how I suffered…untold misery….I will soon write a book about my incarceration and abuse.

Well, I was kinda getting used to my punishment and was actually beginning to mildly enjoy it…until the “grandma brigade” in the next camp heard about me and wanted to cut in on the action from the LTTE thangaatcchi bitches!!!

That’s when I decided to bolt and when one day the PrettyKfirs/Foxy MiGs happened to come by and crap all over, the thangaatcchis scattered helter-skelter and that’s when I made a mad dash for SLA FDL and was – finally – saved!

  33. Senior LTTE Leaders Killed by ai raids

It is reported that a senior leader of the LTTE’s was killed in what is believed to be an SLAF strike in northern Sri Lanka. Lt. Col. Gadaffi, an experienced sea-tiger leader, who planned and executed LTTE’s attack last week on a navy supply vessel anchored in Trincomale was believed to have been caught up in this air raid. Gadaffi was in charge of training suicide cadres of the sea tigers and was a close confidante of LTTE leader, Pirabakaran. At the funeral ceremony held in Mullaitivu, sea tiger leader Soosai is reported to have stated that Gadaffi was one of the most experienced sea tiger officers and was entrusted with operating boats and logistics for LTTE leader Piarabakaran’s travels.

LTTE is reported to have lost another senior leader in an SLAF strike on a training camp in Kilinochchi district. Lt. Col. Vaikunthan, who at one point led the LTTE’s artillery division, was killed in an SLAF strike three days ago. The funeral services were held in Mulliyawalli on Tuesday where several senior LTTE leaders spoke.

Although LTTE did not reveal how Vaikunthan and Gadaffi were killed, funeral services for them were held in Mullaitivu on consecutive days. Tamil residents in the area say although several LTTE cadres were killed in the recent weeks, LTTE publicly acknowledges only the deaths of their most senior cadres.

  34. According to MCNS, troops have managed to kill 78 explosive devices and 1 LTTE cadre.

  36. lkdood,

If this is true (which I doubt VERY much) it seems that the SLAF fighters would have 'accidentaly' met the tincans on their way to bomb Iranamadu strip. Probably it would be Kfir(s) as Mig-27 don't have AA capability. And even Kfir would be armed only with the cannon. So it is possible that they managed to shoot down only one. (If it did actually happen, that is)

  37. Guys,

The landscape - both military and political - are changing faster than we can pronounce, Prabhakaran!

India banned the savages for two more years and the reason is their threat to Indian territorial integrity. Very fascinating indeed.

Special forces are hacking deep into Vanni jungles and the resistance is crumbling at many places.

The intensity of artillery attacks launched by the savages is on decline. That means the Air Force and the army has been succssful in neutralizing them.

The aircraft of the savages can pose a threat to both us and southern India with only feasible mission possible - a suicide attack on a vital target.

Despite the availability of technology, it is next to impossible to stop a determined bastard in his tracks. This is what happened in Colombo yesterday.

It is a wake-up call, for police too; clamp down on the safe houses with steely determination.

  38. "An LTTE air craft was detected by the air defence system yesterday evening over the LTTE built Iranamadu runway, military sources said.
A senior Air Force official told the Daily Mirror that the air defence system had detected the LTTE aircraft soon after, it was airborne. “However it immediately disappeared from the radar system, as it went down,” the official said.

A few weeks ago an LTTE air craft bombed the Welioya forward defence lines injuring one soldier."

  40. It seems Dinamina kathru has guned down a plane. From available news what's for sure is LTTE send thw two tin cans and soon landed them. Air strike happened afer they disapear from radar. i.e. This time SLAF was on time, but it seems LTTE got the news SLAF is on the way so immediatly they landed. SLAF raided suspected area and observed a blast and fire. But this is not a proof of destroying tin cans.

    ReplyDelete
  41. //It can be a friendly fire (air to air) by the second aircraft.//

    LOL

OR even messup in their own automatic air defence system.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Those who oppose now must realise how poweful is combined (military + political) offensive against LTTE rather than military alone. Some how we need to include IC as well in our side against LTTE. CM Pilliyan is just the start of such approach and how much is the frustation of VP we can see his recent reactions.

    ReplyDelete
  43. What about the possibilty of:

    1) Attacking SLAF jets in Colombo using this kind if trick. i.e Send LTTE tin cans, it appears in radar, SLAF send fighter jets. Now LTTW exactly when and where SLAF jets come out and attack.

    2) Divert attention- send LTTE tin cans, it appears in radar, SLAF and other are busy with monitering tin cans. LTTE attack some other place.

    ReplyDelete
  44. well if the radar story is true that means iranamadu runway is indeed the spot these planes are taking off from..
at least now it would be easier to chase these bastards down if they do make another appearance...

on political front... agree with Ninja. Though the eastern elections supposed to have been heavily rigged and full of bad incidents... at least it's a good start. Hopefully eastern people will be benefitted with increased quality of life etc etc

  45. ninja,

"Attacking SLAF jets in Colombo using this kind if trick. i.e Send LTTE tin cans, it appears in radar, SLAF send fighter jets. Now LTTW exactly when and where SLAF jets come out and attack."

Yeah but who's going to attack the SLAF jets? You don't seriously mean that the tincans themselves will shoot them down? And LTTE being able to fire missiles (missiles that can take down a Kfir or Mig-29, not the AA missiles they use now) from some area in Colombo seems to be unlikely. They'll need to get to some very high place like a high building to even try. You can't target a supersonic jet when the whole view is obstructed by buildings. A SAM is not an easy thing to hide in a place like that, they are large when comparing to something like a T-56 or even a sniper rifle which somebody can easily hide.

    ReplyDelete
  46. i think TIN cans are their trump card at the moment and they would not risk them un-necessarily...
and also ltte would need radar themselves to monitor slaf jets as they approach tin cans and their can be hundreds of avenues of approach...
i'd tigers will always prefer a simpler, easy to execute much more fail safe attacks...

  47. Sadly Mr Chandrakanthans life is in danger and i hope the govt has provided him with very tight security. If there is a shortage of security personnel get them off that 60+ yr old bitch chandrika.

"In the meantime, frustrated school children in Vavuniya showing their contempt against LTTE and insisting on non-interference by Tiger elements in their studies launched a massive poster campaign this morning (16) in the heart of Vavuniya town.

Thousands of posters written in Tamil language were seen pasted on the walls in public places like the Central Bus stand, School walls and other general areas. The WANNI Students Movement has triggered the campaign.

Some of the slogans read “Children of LTTE leaders are overseas for foreign education but we are forced to the War. Is that sensible? Does the LTTE want closer of the school ?, etc ”

You guys are still unable to destroy or atleast locate the LTTE tin cans ..... think about it .. whats the answer for that

    ReplyDelete
  54. Shyam,
what you say is beside the point that I made and you repeat the same what you have been saying all this time.

Listen my friend, the point that I made is, how come that school children in Vayunia put up posters like that under the ltte? Could it be the ltte is loosing the grip over the population?

"Don't you people have nuts ..As you saying tamils hate LTTE ; IC is against for them; some of the LTTE members against to VP .but still LTTE taking every action perfectly ...."

What every action are they taking perfectly?

According to what I hear from the Colombo defence officers, they cosider the tin cans more a nuisance than a threat and their priority is not bringing them down.

Their priority is to eliminate tiger cadres slowly but steadily and don't you think that they are doing a magnificent job?

    ReplyDelete

  57. And they have done it again. LTTE has made a tactical withdrawal from Palampiddi junction. But obviously this is just another part of Sun goat's brilliant strategy in bringing the SLA deep into LTTE territory and surround them...... I have no doubt that even now the elite grandma brigade and 13th airborne are preparing for an attack to 'regain lost soil' with the support of their M1A2 tank divisions and F-18 squadrons.

  75. Jayasikuru lasted for 1.5 years and defeated within week. LTTE diasspora expecting same. There are similarities and differences then and now.

    THEN
    1) Main objective was to capture land.
    2) Advanced along A9.
    3) Highly influenced by politics.
    4) Around 5 SLA were out of ground daily. (KIA or P1)
    5) Hardly recovered LTTE dead bodies.
    6) Advancement was mostly due to SF and commandos.
    7) Less public support.
    8) Mass troops movement.

    NOW
    1) Main objective is find and kill maximum tigers.
    2) Minimise own casualties.
    3) Capturing land is secondary objective.
    4) Daily on avarage 5 SLA out of ground. (KIA or P1)
    5) Troops are every where, many fronts.
    6) Reguler troops do the job.
    7) Political influence in minimum.
    8) Public support.
    9) Gruop based attacks.

Thus on avarage own casualties are mostly same or less compared to number of fronts. Advancement is relatively slow. But almost every day SLA recover dead bodies: which was rarely happened in jayasikuru. One mistake was capturing and without killing and now SLA has fixed it.

The usual tactic of LTTE is to use maximum resources at a single instance, at correct time and location, a weak point in SLA and attack with maximum strength. In unceasing waves they used maximum man power and in the recent muhamale battle they used maximum number of artilary and motars. This is yet to happen in wanni. I guess one reason LTTE not to use it, SLA has avoided mass troop movements.

Also, I know in jayasikuru its mostly SF captured the land. But now reguler troops do well with all the veerappan masters, charlies, malathis, radas etc.

    Thanks bro...

As for those "unceasing waves" these scumbags may come at us with those occasionally in this blog, but in the war theatre, that's a thing of the past. Tooday they can hardly afford to replace the forced recruited little girls/grannies who are getting blown to bits by our advancing MBRLs/MBTs/heavy artys. When SLA finally gets to many bunkers in the FDL, I am told they find corpses rotting and many have been dead for days.

The story today is more a "ceasing waves" if you ask me...

  77. Welcome back the one and only OaO.
Was wondering where u were.Anyways its food to have u back.

I suppose the only language the ltte supporters understand here is your language lol..

Its really good to see some heightened action by the forces.

I think Palampiddi too is a tactical withdrawal according to ltte sympathisers here. Very soon viduthalthivu also could become another withdrawal... wonder whether they would withdraw towards India or deep into vanni lol.

Its good to see a lower level cadre/child soldier becoming a CM (the youngest CM) by democratic process.

  80. Asithri,
Thanks bro.We all do what we can.:)My greatest worry-we dont know how many rich people are in this LTTE game.We have caught a tamil businessman selling ball bearing concealed in cans of paint to the LTTE..how many more..are in this game.. i mean sinhalese, tamil and muslim..

  81. Riyaz,
Bro..do you see the problem here. How easy it is for these LTTE cadres to become "civilians".They have the omnipresent blue sarong worn by civilians under the LTTE kit..We have to kill as many of these "barathanatyum masters" while persuading the younger LTTE conscripts to surrender..there is no need for them to die for a fat diabetic pig.

  82. true... Life in vain to make one oppressor rich and fat, while his kids enjoy the luxuries. I usually dont like using foul language.. lol

  83. Riyaz,
Using foul language is unnecessary. However when you think of what rot these LTTE felllows have been doing overseas over the past 30 years i cant contain myself. With them the whole world is discriminating against them all the time..as if we have nothing better to do with our time than indulge the LTTE..

  85. Assthiri,

you still live with your mama jokes?

No wonder, why the pedophile worshiping Riyaz loves your dirty jokes. These handicapped idiots want to act like decent lads while using some sellout like you, most probably the product of beach culture, to use against their proxy war.

Yes, we should not forget the overseas-based terrorists. We should out them whenever we have a chance and watermark others for future projects!

Now that is a funny question from someone who’s natural elder brother is also his natural father!

    LMSSAO!!!

[most probably the product of beach culture]

At least the beach culture products don’t blow themselves up like the horrifically incest abused, brainwashed, thangaatchis for a prematurely ejaculated, wet-dream!

  88. Profanity is part and parcel of childhood in some parts of the world. Certain kids even rise to the level of playground legends by excessive use of such words and expressions.

As for matters of national security, these kids won’t even spare a few mins to read the news during exams weeks, let alone give their lives or limbs.

  89. Can anyone shed more light into the news that a close friend of Pillian was the owner of the suicide motor bike? Could it be a dirty slur on the new CM?
