8 LTTE cadres killed in fighting : Palamoddai

At least 7 LTTE fighters were killed in fighting that ensued between the Sri Lanka army and the LTTE yesterday, in Palamoddai region. 8 bunkers built by the LTTE in the are have been overrun by the troops. 58 division infantry units moved into LTTE held territory moments after a heavy artillery barrage pounded the area.

Meanwhile the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) flew a bombing sorties on an LTTE position after nearly a week long silence. The target was a suicide bomber training facility in Thirivaiaru, located 3 kilometers south east of Kilinochchi. You can download the UAV footage of the bombing from here (Source: defence.lk)

In other news another LTTE operative was arrested in Indian by the Thamil Nadu police intelligence unit. The LTTE cadres, identified as "Thambianna" is supposed to be a key figure in LTTE's supply network in Thamil Nadu. Five Yamaha 40HP boat engines ready to be sent to Sri Lanka were also captured by the police. Similar engines are frequently used by the sea tigers to power their medium sized craft.

  2. At the moment we can only see some limited actions in Palamoddai area or A9 road's west flank. Why is that? Is that because of humanitarian reasons? (getting disturb the essential supplies route), LTTE's resistant or the army is waiting for the right time?

  7. Guys,

Tamil Tigers - the great dam(n)builders

Tigers are very busy people; their admireres - they have many - say it is the preparation for the final battle.

Those who let their buddies perform a Monica Lewinsky on them without wearing knee-pads, have other ideas; they call it the operation red bird, whatever that means.

Despite all the hype that surrounds these amazing creatures, higgledy-piggledy has broken out among the masses of Vanni on many front, threatening their very survival.

Tigers show their acumen in bund-making, I am told. They are in the process of building trenches, filling them up with water and then using the soil to make the bund, while intermittently installing bunkers in them.

It sounds a bit geeky, doesn't it? Yes, it does indeed.

However, they have copied this art from European kings.

These lucky European folks used to construct their castles while surrounding them with high stone walls and the land next to them with trenches full of water - moats. The Leeds Castle in England, United Kingdom is a case in point. Very elegant and purpose-built.

However, despite the robust structures, the luck had not always on the side of the occupants or more appropriately the incumbants, of these majestic structures; these things just prolonged their life span by a few months and suffering by cart-lords, by the standard of that time.

Velupillai's bunds are aesthetic equivalent of nighmares: hastily built; outright ugly; not borne out of a blurprint; fragile and weaker than molehills.

A journalist from the Daily Mirror called them the vertical wall. Even our dear kuttu wouldn't call a wall, a vertical wall. No sane person constructs a wall while emulating the Tower of Piza. A structure that is horizontal is not a wall; we may call it a slab. Having interpreted Ranil's soul for months, if not years, the Daily Mirror has finally succumbed to inevitable - embracing the reality.

How long will the Tigers hide behind these dams for?

Their admirers says it is eternity, something to be seen.

The Daily Mirror journaist who broke the story of a vertical wall, goes even further. It says that the Tigers are constructing an underground railway line too so that Velupillai can make a dignified exit; a much better way of doing things than huddling up in an onion sac.

I think Velupillai is up to a different game this time - a very ingenious one. I have my theory and it is as follows:

He is going to pretend that he actually is a coal miner, not the chap wanted by the interpol for crimes against humanity. His survival against air strikes and ability for not being detected for 30 years, further enhance my line of inquiery: he may have applied soot all over him to convince his enemy what his real trade is - coal mining. We know from our elementary physics at primary school, black absorbs light leaving nothing to go out of him. So his detection has been next to impossible.

Unfortunately, this strategy has its limit too. Miners are notoriously accident-prone. When an inexperienced miner learns his ropes, he becomes more prone to mishaps. So, poor Velu may end up being a charcoal, if he doesn't make sensible moves in the coming weeks.

    I wish him good luck!

  10. SLAF helicopter hit by artillery fire in Ma'nalaa'ru
    [TamilNet, Thursday, 31 July 2008, 08:10 GMT]
A Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Bell 212 helicopter, which was airlifting wounded Sri Lanka Army (SLA) soldiers from Ma'nalaa'ru (Ma'nalaa'ru) was hit by artillery fire on and was forced to make emergency landing at Anuradhapura SLAF base Tuesday evening, a well informed source in Anuradhapura said.

The helicopter was badly damaged and now grounded at Anuradhapura air base, according to the source.

Two Bell 212 helicopters were operated from Ma'nalaa'ru to Anuradhapura to bring the casualties. Only one Bell helicopter is now available to the SLA to transport the wounded soldiers from Ma'nalaa'ru.

Sri Lankan Air Force in Colombo declined to comment about the incident.

How it possible to hit a helicopter by a artilary fire. I think its only possible when it is landed. If it is hit while landing, how it make an emergancy landing at Anuradhapura ?

  11. May not be defense related. Its true that cost of living is sky rocketing. But I see a good trend. Allways in Sri Lanka nothing can be done without politicians bieng involoved. For example taming the three wheel drivers, private bus mafia because the governmnet is scared of loosing votes. Remeber when police started charging private bus drivers stoping in places other than bus holts they went on strike and the procedure was withdrawn.
Same thing happened so far with shanty dwellers. One good thing came out of SAARC summit is getting rid of these thugs. Now that the supreme court decided thay have no rights to state lands. Force is the answer to tame majority of the sri lankans. I think if Sri Lanka to come out of this chronic problem Gen Fonseka method should be applied. I have a feeling whem he retires he will contest for presidency. What do you guys think. I think he will win.

  12. Perein,

Clever stuff with the map (previous thread); thanks. I will add the link to my favourites.

    Side Effect,

I am not sure if the actions are limited on the west of A9 but what I know about the terrain is as follows. The last time I have been in these jungles (areas like Kokavil where the SLRC TV transmitter used to be) was in the early 80s.

The jungles in these areas are extremely thick. Almost every thicket and bush sporting thorns and spikes of varying length and sharpness. One wonders how even a rabbit could move about within this terrain as the trees and bushes are well compacted together. It is that bad. The only paths we could use were those created by wild animals like elephants. Even that was not easy as thorns would easily entangle you and delay your progress.

Now I have seen reports saying that the LTTE have cleared the undergrowth to enable them to spot the enemy easily. This may actually help our advancing troops. It must be a daunting task for our soldiers just to get through the jungle let alone fighting the enemy. Well done boys!

On the other hand, the coastal road from Mannar to Pooneryn is fairly open with sandy soil (if my memory serves me right) with plenty of wildlife on show. The jungle starts a couple of miles eastwards from the coast.

Any latest information about the terrain from Defencenet would be most welcome.

slaf deploys helos to evacuate wounded troops and also to drop them in and pick them up from and to battle zones... like you said, most probably it was a chance hit while the helo was on the ground if this is true in the first place. and also it can't be a direct hit cos the 212's are not heavily armoured and it wont take much to completely destroy one...
and according to their own reports the helo made it back to A'pura airbase which means it was flight worthy after taking the hit...
nothing from the government sites still though

  15. How can a helicopter survive being hit by an artillery shell? And anyway, artillery is not used for attacking aircraft, unless it accidentally got in its line of fire. In such a case, I think even a slight brush of the flying artillery shell against the helicopter would most likely have sent the helicopter spinning. Even if this is true, I don't understand how this can happen.

    Defencenet,

The UAV footage seems to be kind of different than in earlier videos. Is this the new UAV?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Someone in an earlier post said that we should not target LTTE evacuation teams in the second sortie as it was againts the rules of engagement. It does not seem that the LTTE followed any rules of engagement / conventions when they targeted(?) this chopper. I am not saying that we should be doing the same, but just to point out that the LTTE does not care for rules / conventions. We all know that, don't we.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Mohammed,

Can't really say that, because the helicopter was and Air Force one and the LTTE wouldn't know if it was carrying wounded personnel or not. I don't think the helicopter had any indications to show that it was carrying wounded soldiers.

But that's not saying LTTE follows rules of engagement at all times. For example, they have killed surrendered soldiers and other POW's (incidents like Kokavil, Muhamalai Debacle). And of course, blowing people up and killing civilians is definitely not following 'rules of engagement'

This article talks about somebody attacking the fishermen, but doesn't say how many were there or how they came. They just take it for granted that it was the SL navy. Nothing to prove that it was SLN. It's like telling "We know it, you believe it". Maybe they think that the only people sailing in Sri Lankan waters apart from the Indian fishermen are the SL Navy. With a political breakthrough achieved over the highly-contentious issue of the Indo-US nuclear deal, a number of countries like Turkey, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand and UAE have initiated talks with the Nuclear Power Corp of India (NPCIL) to buy low-cost, small and medium-sized nuclear power reactors (SMRs), indigenously developed by NPCIL, as reported in economictimes.com
India and China are the two countries in the world that develop low-cost SMRs (less than 600 mw) while the developed world is focused on large-scale nuclear reactors with capacities over 900 mw.

The cost of developing SMRs in India is around Rs 5-6 crore per mw compared to the international price of $15-20 million (Rs 60-80 crore).

“A potentially huge international market of development of low-cost SMRs has opened up with India drawing close to the deal. We have been getting enquiries from a number of countries that want to import SMRs from us,” senior NPCIL officials said. India was unable to purchase or sell its nuclear technology and nuclear fuel in the international market due to the sanctions and restrictions imposed by Washington following the 1974 Pokhran nuclear test. Now, the US has agreed to complete civil nuclear energy co-operation with India.

It will now seek the Congress nod to adjust US laws and policies, and will work with “friends and allies” to adjust international regimes to enable full civil nuclear energy co-operation and trade with India, including, but not limited to, expeditious consideration of fuel supplies to nuclear reactors at Tarapur. - Economictimes.com ]

SLAF always go very closer to enimy areas and land to get injured soldiers. LTTE fire all the time and got luckky this time. There is no method to fight a war without getting injured, killed own troops and without any damages to military assets. I hope SLAF will take necassary steps. If SLAF can buy MIG29s what's the problem of buying suitable helicopters to move injured soldiers?

  76. LTTE is looking for chemical warefare?
    ...........................
Chennai (PTI): The arrest of the chief of LTTE procurement module is being regarded by the Tamil Nadu police as a breakthrough of sorts as he was wanted in various cases of smuggling arms and other materials to Sri Lanka.

Thambianna alias Daniel (46), who clandestinely landed in Rameswaram by a ferry from Sri Lanka and came to Chennai later, was trailed by the police for a month.

Intelligence IG Jaffer Sait told reporters here that police did so to crack his contacts before arresting him.

"Most of LTTE cadre arrested in the state have been working under his control and he was trying to smuggle petrol this time. He was wanted in connection with smuggling of explosives, swimming and communication equipment among others and was a member of the Sea Tigers," Sait said.

He could not send the consignments from Ramanathapuram and was planning alternative routes through Tanjavur and Pudukottai.

Following police crackdown on the LTTE, they had shifted their sea route to Kerala, Sait said adding seven cases in 2006 and 48 in 2007-08 have been booked against various members of the proscribed unit.

Instances of smuggling of ball bearings and aluminium balls besides fuel and other equipment to the LTTE have been on the rise in the past two years.

Thambianna was arrested from Valasaravakkam on Thursday and remanded to judicial custody.

Meanwhile, police on Thursday found 25 cans of some chemical meant for being smuggled to Sri Lanka buried among the bushes at Durgah Valasai near Rameswaram early Thursday morning.

The chemical had been sent for lab tests as police suspect it could be used in warfare.

  77. "Meanwhile, troops of the Task Force-1 flanking the western edge of the combined Mannar- Vavuniya front have also advanced their defences to the A9 main road south of Mankulam."
    -Daily Mirror

I think the author is referring to task force-2 rather than TF-1. If the comment is true this is a major development. 56 Division already at Nedunkeny, some major offensives on the east of A-9 should be expected. But this option would depend on our ability to allocate large number of troops in the near future. So, end of the SARC?....

  78. the "fierce" gun battle in mundampidi is interesting. this is situated along the A32 SOUTH OF vellankulam.

although SLDFs whacked the tigers, that is only one part of the story. interestingly this attack comes a few hours after Mi-24s attacked west of vellankulam.

how the hell LTTE barbarians managed to attack SOUTH OF vellankulam (almost at the same time they were active 1 km west of vellankulam)?

we have presence in tunukkai, mallavi adampankulam along the vellankulam-mankulam road already.

i have some suspicion that SLA was moving along the A32 TOO FAST that "depth" was not there ADEQUATELY. capturing illupakadaveli was a classic BOX strategy but vellankulam was not quite so.

SLA should resist their desire to pierce through A32 FASTER than inland troops can keep pace.

we don't want "culumnal" movements this time. lets strickly stick to the COAST to COAST (east to west) FDLs.

As we know there is no political pruasure to speed up the offensive. We don't have any hurry. In fact, it is good for MR slow SLA advance. (What will MR do if SLA finish the war tomorrow?} So speed is determined by SLA itself, I guess. It seems now SLA is willing to take increased risk.

You raise some interesting points. Force protection needs to remain a priority and for that very reason 'depth' needs to be created so that the crack troops who spear-head the thrust can be adequately rested and rotated.

As our regualrs are showing very capable of doing some of the deep-penetrating stuff by them selves, there needs to be more focus on using them for close quarters harrassing strikes which keep pressure on the enemy, provide a respite for the strike-teams and also provide training opportunities for the veteran regualrs. This may become a very important function since there is a great likelihood of a need for effective ground saturation once the LTTE has been removed from K'chchi and Mullaitivu bastions.

Is there a political and geo-polit necessity to rush along? There may be some, but the US and Indian scenarios do not look too intimidating. For a fact we know that Bro.O will do no different than George W, where terrorism is concerned.

In particular, it is not like the present govt is capable of delivering a sound economic plan for the country once the war is over either. These guys are fighting the war quite well, but in peace time, they'd be a propabaly be worth nothing as a leadership. The SLFP never could manage an economy. They don't wven know how to spell the word.

[The jungles in these areas are extremely thick. Almost every thicket and bush sporting thorns and spikes of varying length and sharpness. One wonders how even a rabbit could move about within this terrain as the trees and bushes are well compacted together.]

Bro, I thinks this is actually not a major issue for SLA anymore. After I saw your post I talked to a “source” in Colombo and was told that our mechanized or armored corps today having enough nifty stuff like the MBTs (T55 and variants) the IFVs (particularly the cool MBPs) and the APCs (especially the Type 63 and BTR 80) I am told are great at smashing through thick undergrowth and our bravehearts have used them very effectively to go in an liquidate the LTTE SOWs who thought the impenetrable jungle was a great advantage to them, to ambush SLA infantry (i.e. foot soldiers).

These babies have also been indispensable I am told when cutting through “batta” mined areas. Of course, there are terrain limitations re. where these babies can be used, but evidently, this mechanized support (on small scale often) has been one heck of a morale booster as well as a life-preserver for the bravehearts I was told.

So LTTE MFs…nice uh? Yup, you can run, but you cannot hide…!!!

  99. Well, LTTE has its own inteligent unit. Ofcourse, its not like that they get info from newspapers or web. Famous question raised is 'did LTTE get info for AAB attack from media?'. But does this mean the impact from news on web/ papers is zero for LTTE operations??

I feel like specially this SF guy say too much. And its not like LTTE know all the things. Obviuosly, LTTE has to work hard to obtain info, verify them etc spending a lot of money and risking their men. In such a case I don't know why this guy put every thing on web and give it free. (If this is done as a part of psy-ops or to mislead enimy. its different. But I don't think its the case. Its hard to find any lie from this guy, but many true things before they come via mormal media.)

We can imagine there is a part of knowledge with LTTE about SLDF which is appeared in usual media. But MI doesn't know exactly up to which point LTTE has SLDF info. And there is another part which LTTE don't know. So when you put stuff on web how do you know the info you give to public is not part of info LTTE already has with them?

WhatI am asking is true for DN, DW articles as well. And some of you guys write things you get from your own friends in SLDF. Some one please clarify.

  103. Guys,

    A Close Shave - and it's true

My man who has an electronic ear in the military establishment in Colombo, told me an interesting story last night.

It is about the way two LRRP guys, got into, what was supposed to be a strictly-no-go area, bumped into a folk of Imran Pandian on a cycle - heavily armed - yet made the narrowest of all escapes, much to the overwhelming delight of both his superiors and fellow men.

The two of our men were appropriately dressed for the occassion - a form of camouflague. Of course, Tiger supporters say it is illegal to dress that way, as if they were the people who do everything in a legal framework. They can't expect these LRRP folks to wear suit and tie in their missions.

One folk could talk in Tamil, I was told. Unfortunately, the other couldn't. The man on the bicycle did not surprise at their presence, in the what they call the highest security zone - where Prabha actually lives. He thought these two guys were just two of their own. However, he checked the identity cards and other documents to kick out any lingering suspicion given the sensitive nature of the area. Everything was in order!!

He mildly started questioning the two. Fortunately, he chose the folk who could speak Tamil and I was told, it went rather well. Then the Imran Pandhian folk, who was leaning against his cycle while brandishing a macnine gun, turned to the other folk who couldn't talk Tamil. Hell broke loose!

The Imran Pandhian guy couldn't shoot the intruders because they were heavily armed. Instead, he fired a shot in the air. The two folks could hear the arrival of Tigers like a swarm of bees from all directions. The stakes were very high and their lives were hanging by a thread.

These brave soldiers knew what they were doing and they didn't give up like cowards. They were armed not only with a gear of military hardware but also with a flame of patriotism.

The two LRRP guys started firing and then ran backwards - and as fast as they could.

I was told that they ran for 12 km through the most inhospitable terrain when the enemy were following you like a pack of wolves, before finding burrow near a big tree trunk. Then they covered themselves with leaves to avoid detection and spent a night before slowly moving their way to the camp, reading the compass.

Mission was not accomplished in a strict sense. It was not a failure eithere. Because, the combination of the presence of mind, sheer bravery, tact, resillience, dedication and the focus on the task at hand, is just as good as success. The two folks showed their fighting streak.

It shows how far our LRRP has infiltrated into these so-called high security zones. What I just mentioned is not the last, I must say.

Tigers thought only are they capable of launching clandestine missions. Robbing them of that skill made a big difference in the final Eelam war. Their defences are crumbling on all fronts and are untennable.

Penetration that far into theirs, is just one example that why the army is confident they can liquidate the brutes before October.

May the Noble Triple Gem bless these brave souls of Mother Lanka!

  111. All this talk of major counter attacks, action expected to start once we enter Kili, Tigers waiting in silence for a big surprise, and operation red bird reminds me of the US invasion of Iraq in 2003. The analysts were expecting the action to thicken once the coalition forces come up againts the elite republican guard once they get close to Baghdad. All that happened was the elite guard melted into the civilian population, the Iraqi army withered away, mass desertions and surrenders ensued. The coalition forces practically walked into Iraq. Add to that, they were no WMDs. Striking similarities to this current war in the wanni I must say. But lets not get cocky.

I have a feeling that you don't have two balls. My reason is very simple: if you have both, your writing may have a bit more balanced. You are ruining the English language and deserve a punishment for it.

Your postings are hilariously polarized. That tendency stems from the absence of one ball. If you ignore this medical condition for long, you are dangerously going to lose the balance and consequences I can only imagine.

I have a solution mate; all you have to do is buy of some bluetack from a high-steet shop, take a lump and make sure it is equal in weight to your existing ball. Then just stick it at the right place in the name of Qrious.

Once you do that, just drop a line.

I am sure we are going to witness a changed Shyam with his legendary stupidity behind him.

  129. Guys,

Thanks for the appreciation extended on my little piece of true news about two brave soldiers. I will share these things when I get them provided that it doesn't play into the hands of enemy or Ranil.

There are some photographs of funerals of dead Tiger leaders
    here.

Those who don't understand Tamil can do the following to partially to get away with:

Right click the image and the press save as phrase. It shows the name in English.

    That's what I do anyway.

  130. Sorry off topic…

Ballata ethi vedakuth ne…hemin gamanakuth ne…kivvalu….ahem….

It is a good idea to make Colombo a stray dog-free zone. It is a sign of poverty apparently, to have mangy stray dogs running about in our capital city. It is also a catalyst for traffic accidents and of course propagation of rabies. But most of all, they mess up all our newly done SAARC flower beds on the roundabouts…which cannot be tolerated for a moment…r..rrr..rr..Ruff… !

The government is planning to spend money catching, vaccinating, castrating and letting the scruffy dogs loose back in to the “environment” where they will spend the rest of their unproductive lives and return to dust. If the scheme works, in about 12 years (average life span of a dog) we may not have a dog on our streets even for medicinal purposes. ..woof…woof…

    Apo…ballek hoyaganda nehenay behethakatavath…

When the Koreans were building the “Isurupaya” building (or another building nearby) in a small suburb near the parliament building, the local residents noticed a distinct reduction of stray dogs in the area. Local people were commenting exactly as above.

Based on this observation therefore I suggest another way to contain the canine problem in our Pukka Land for FREE would be to invite Korean labour forces to carry out all our building and other labour intensive pukka projects in and around the capital for a period of just one year. Results guaranteed. Save the injection money to castrate the tigers, I say.

Allegedly when Koreans first came to London, they were all looking for accommodation in the Battersea area. Apparently they thought Battersea Dogs Home was a take-away joint! Kevin might be able to confirm?

  131. Why are so many dogs attracted to the B M I C H anyway? Is it because our stupid dogs who can’t read properly think the acronym is B I T C H??

  132. News flash….
    __________________________
The Defence Ministry wants to establish a Tiger-Free Zone at the BMICH -- the venue of the SAARC summit -- and the Vilpattu National Park. Sri Lanka defence forces, acting on a request made by Defence Minister Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, began rounding up stray tigers in these areas from last November.

The CMC’s chief veterinary Surgeon Dr. D. Illeperuma said the government policy was to castrate stray tigers and let them live (wink, wink) in their own environment called dreamlaam.

“Stray tigers are a symbol of depravity. We are continuing with our policy of castrating these tiger dogs. At present there are no more than 3,300 stray tigers in the north and most of them are castrated and we have allowed them to remain in the environment (wink, wink) in special enclosures approximately 6 foot underground.

“It’s a difficult task to evacuate street tigers. Even if we remove all in one area another set of tiger dogs would come to the same area but for the time being we are doing our best to take away the ones roaming near the summit venue,” he said.

Dr. Illeperuma said that twenty four tiger dogs from areas around the BITCH had been taken to the CMC’s dog/tiger pound on the 4th floor in white vans. He said the dog tigers were tagged and would be released (wink, wink) in to the same area after the summit, or before the summit, who cares. Or even during the summit...

He said these dogs had destroyed newly-done flower beds in the Viharamahadevi Park (naughty, naughty) which was revamped for the SAARC summit and therefore any tigers found in the park too would be locked up until the end of the summit and then released to dreamlaam.

  133. Qrious, great comeback mate. I can't actually find the article on the funerals on Puthinam, where is it?

    Shyam, you have been had.

  134. Mohammad,

Just clink on the little photographs in the middle column and you will see them in two of them.

    pakka-lanka,

I have an idea about dealing with stray dogs, more humanely.

How about putting them around our army camps? I am sure they won't leave any single alone thing that just moves.

They can be fed on left-overs and it makes economic sense too.

However, the chorous will not music to the ears of the neighbours. If we let resonance takes place at that time, it can cause a seismic inconvenience.

  135. Qrious, no joking, but our Navy already uses stray dogs to guard their bunkers. They are the first to alert when anyone gets too near. A cheap and effective use of stray dogs pioneered by SLN!

    ReplyDelete
  136. SLPF is arrests a lot of ruuners and kept them in Nugegoda army camp and these guys are gonna face the bars ...

i got a question is army forcing its carders to the death ..if the army is on victory march then are the buggers keep on running .....

  138. Shyam, mate the more and more you flame bloggers on this forum, the more and more you are going to lose your credibility (if you haven't lost it already). Your lame comebacks pale in comparison to the rest of us. Do you even speak and write proper English? Who are you? A cash and carry checkout staff with a laptop? I may have bought vegetables from you in the past.

  139. Shyam, at this rate, the only thing at your disposal to alert you to our troops approach on Kili will be your red birds.

  141. Qrious/Mohammed,

What a good idea indeed. Let our four-legged (unwanted) friends earn their keep by providing an early warning system for our boys on the front.

I am off to see a good (Tamil) friend of mine tomorrow. I shall learn a few phrases of Tamil to compliment my knowledge of the Tamil alphabet.

I wish all patriots on this blog a very good weekend!

(to the rest - "Be afraid... be very afraid…the end is surely nigh thee…it shall overtake thee in the dark like an arrow…and thou shalt be ushered in to thy dreamlaam forthwith….with no soul to hearken to thy plea for mercy…nay…not a soul…behold… Pukka Lanka has spoken…yea…so be it written in the volumes of cyberspace….so long my disgusting ones…so long…”)

  142. This is not the first time we have heard this "MI". You think the SLDF is just going to sit back and watch?

PS, SLN use stray dogs to fight LTTE pigs because they just can't be bothered. Its better to let animals fight it out between themselves, and it saves ammo.

  144. there will be a tremendous attack on the Sri lankan forces in the coming weeks and months, from what i hear this attack is the most planned and devastating one in eelam war4, till this point we still dont know where it will originate from and where it will take place, that information is only with the ltte top brass. However, one thing for certain is that this is going to be a do or die attack, so for all you premature ejaculaters of lighting fireworks as if the war is done, wait and see.

    ReplyDelete
  145. Cheers Pukka Bruv. Have a great weekend and hope you improve your Tamil vocab!

    ReplyDelete
  146. "do or die attack", ha ha ha ha, so you are actually admitting that this is Vezapizza's last stand? Bring it on! What you don't seem to get into your thick oily haired is that we will not just sit and watch while you conduct your "tremendous attack".

    ReplyDelete
  147. mohammed, the tigers are not modhayas, they dont expect the enemy to sit and watch, they plan according to the enemy's capability, they do not underestimate the enemy, like i said the upcoming battles are going to be decisive.

  148. peelam bootlickers waiting for an attack....poor shit eaters ... LTTE can only attack civilian busses and mosques and temples only. SEE THE LAST COUNTER ATTACK where over 100 charly antony sarong briagade goons were freed from thier miserable lives under VP.

    thiru said,

like i said the upcoming battles are going to be decisive.

Yes, certainly, mate. How about the fights we just finished? They were decisive as well, if you meant, make-or-break.

I assume you are delivering us a thinly-veiled warning - not to go ahead any further.

Since it is not going to happen, I advice you to get rid of misplaced racial sentiments one by one before October. Otherwise, you are going to have bouts of depression for a very long time.

  150. Mohammaed ,

Have you forgot how the LTTE wiped the Stray dogs around the Katunayake before they move in ...

that doesn't matter for LTTE .. the stray dogs will be annoying for the SLA by barking every time and fighting among them ... i am still worrying a stray dog supports stray dog ...

Golden opportunity for the SLDF to 'invite' them to the fight... before harvesting!

  155. Guys,

    Wow, wow wow!

The link I provided with you, a while ago is of no use now. They have removed the photographs of the funeral.

It was the funeral of an LTTE intelligent folk, may be a deputy of Pottu.

The chief guest has been a TNA MP who delivered the eulogy for the dead bastard.

It looks like the exposure of his true colours has made the rascal either ashamed of his acts or scared of consequences. His double-life may force him to embrace the inevitable at some point of this last war.

He has played some role in removing the photographs.
